getting us in the spirit for a subway series yes it is the other thing that's getting us in his

spirit in particular is the way the Mets have been playing and the fact that they swept the tigers

and that's great and there obviously is a level of energy that both of these young players have

freed and all of a sudden this becomes a really interesting series just simply because of where the

Mets had been where they are now and how maybe they're coming out of it and how the Yankees

are kind of falling back into it a little bit but this is the baseball. And this is exactly what normally happens every year with each of these teams. Sooner or later, they're going to go into, I don't know whether or not you would consider this a Yankee swoon or not. I heard people talking about swooning. Not yet. You can't swoon until you're in June. You know, like when you hear CMAC on the you hear malusus on the air the yankee you know sick of fans and the yankee shills uh they they

they are resisting the word swoon because i've heard people call in and say oh here comes this is

the swoon of the yankee season and i i don't necessarily know that that to be true and i want to be

on the side of seaman and malo, but I also want to be realistic and say, you know, the bottom of the Yankee order is a problem.

It is a huge problem.

And that's a problem that the Mets hopefully can exploit this weekend.

And it's going to be tough to exploit the pitcher tonight for the Yankees and Cam Schlittler, who has been spectacular.

You know, last night we saw Nolan McLean, who didn't have his best stuff, but still was able to battle and the Mets get a win and sweep the Tigers, our first sweep of the season.

Perseverance.

Perseverance from a young guy. If you were to watch the Canadians last night play the Sabres, the Sabres got up 3-0-0, they were this close to pulling the goalie, the Canadians. Marty San Luis was this close to pulling the goalie because it was the three first shots, boom, boom, boom, 3-0. And before you know it, buffalo thinks that it's going to win a series

and lo and behold the canadians come all the way back the goal he settles down he plays great

and this is exactly what i'm talking about with no one mclean yesterday gets off to a bad start

next thing you know he goes seven innings i think he won seven did he go seven or six what one it
