It's the media buzz meter with Howard Kurtz.

The Iowa pollster Ann Selzer is in the news because of Donald Trump's suit yesterday against her and the Des Moines Register.

And I know everything in the online world is like, get it up, get it up, get it up, beat the other guy by five minutes, 20 minutes, whatever it is.

But a little tough love for mediate.

And by the way, we all make mistakes.

If it's an unusual spelling of a name or something, sometimes you don't double check.

But if the main person in the story has the name misspelled, it kind of

undercuts the story. So Mediite had it as Anne Seltzer, the kind you would order at a soda

fountain counter. And, you know, with today's tech, I mean, it takes literally five seconds to do a search.

You write an AN, SEL, and it fills it in for you. You don't even have to go to the actual article.

And so if maybe you made that mistake in a rush, although the name was in there several times,

like somebody

should go back after it's posted and say, oh, we got this wrong. We ought to correct it.

So I'm sure Anne was teased about her name as a younger person. And of course, the suit against

the register is part of a blizzard of lawsuits by Donald Trump.

Which brings me to story number one.

Now, I'm not exactly thrilled by this, but I think Trump is back to beaten up on the quote corrupt media.

And I think this was something of a victory lap after beating ABC and George Stephanopoulos.

And so also he's saying he's going to move against 60 minutes for that, you know, unbelievably bad blunder,

almost everyone in journalism agrees, of having a different Kamala Harris answer than the question to a different answer to a different question.
