You tried to caution people yesterday about Jackson Dart and the expectations.

But you didn't say really what you expected from him.

So what do you think this is going to look like his first start against a really good defense

and a really good head coach that has had a lot of success against rookie quarterbacks

in the NFL since he has come back to coach in the NFL.

Well, the other thing, too, is that they're also bringing in the second best

passing offense in the league right now going against the secondary

that has been ripped and torched.

So that's not good.

So that means that there's going to be pressure

on the offense of the Giants to keep up with the offense of the Chargers, and you're asking a rookie to do this. You know, I think there's going to be a lot of movement in the pocket. I think they're going to try to get him outside the pocket, try to keep things somewhat simple, especially if they, if you have like a third and long and the game is still within the balance,

they'll be careful with him.

I don't necessarily know that they're going to be, you know, throwing the ball 45 times.

Now, if they do get down, this will be an opportunity for him to throw the ball a lot and to get

back there and to get hit and to get to see a lot of different defenses.

But, you know,

I, uh, I, uh, I, I would just temper my enthusiasm just simply because it really is the first

time that he's going to be experiencing this. It's completely different. The speed is different.

Um, the setup is different. All the schemes are different.

You see a lot of different things.

And, you know, what I really want to see is in those situations where the game is on the line,

like last night we saw Kyle of Murray a couple times on third and fourth down, make some great plays.
