And here we are back at it again, and a story that was debating in our production meeting.

I was like, I could do another mall of monologue about Mike Tomlin and rehashing some of the past events of the weekend.

Not that that's not on my list, because it's certainly on my list,

but what really has my attention? Because if I'm not into it, then I'm going to assume that you're not into it. And so I was like, well, what really's got me going? Do I really want to

break down Lane Kiffin right now? No, no. If I talk Florida, Atlantic football too much, they'll turn the power off to the facility here.

So I can't do that. I can't go down that road. I'm looking around and I'm like, well, what's really going on?

What's got my attention? And I kept circling back around to Derek Jita, the old captain of the New York Yankees

who thought, you know, sounds pretty cool to own a baseball team.

I made a lot of money.

Why not?

And then, of course, the co-conspirators who are also guilty of this crime,

Rob Manford and his henchmen decided, you know, we'll give you the Marlins.

Why not?

Why not?

But it was a bizarre scene in Miami on a Tuesday night.

And while it is a sports story, it's the kind of a story that we would have never talked about if Derek Jeter had not

been part of this.

A Marlins Town Hall meeting does not typically pop up on the old radar here.

But it was Bizarro World is what it was, and it was all because of Derek Jeter.
