If you had Case Keenham returning to the Vikings, you're a loser.

If you had the Denver Broncos winning the sweepstakes to get Kirk Cousins, you're a loser.

The news coming out of the Mile High City in the late night, overnight hours that the Denver Broncos have lost the offseason.

They have lost the off season.

They needed to get that signature quarterback.

And instead, they have ended up with Case Keenum.

The Broncos agreeing to terms on a free agent contract with the former Minnesota Viking.

That story coming down within the last hour or so, 30-year-old journeyman quarterback,

Case Keenham coming off a career year. If you were to make a checklist of things you would like to avoid, I would say quarterbacks coming off a career year that are around the age of 30 that had limited starting experience.

Every box has been checked with Case Keenham, but he apparently is headed to Denver,

and he is the first of the top quarterbacks in

free agency for the year 2018 to agree to a contract.

The Broncos had been connected with Kirk Cousins.

That didn't happen.

There were talks of A.J. McCarron, possibly being in the mix.

That didn't happen.

And instead, Case Keenum, now if you're an optimist, you'll say that he's a late bloomer

and he played very well for the Minnesota Vikings last year.

They got all the way to the NFC championship game before Case Keenum did a faceplant
