What does this line tell us about these teams? Because the Pelicans and the Lakers are competing, if I'm not mistaken. Again, I'm not an NBA expert, but they're competing for the play-in, right? Yes, Pelicans, 9th, Lakers tied for 10th, 11th with the tie break. It's really interesting because March 27th, you know, a week ago,

this game was at New Orleans. Tonight's game is at L.A. New Orleans was a four-point favorite

with no AD and with LeBron. So if you do a home court four-point switch, this would be about a

pick-um without AD. You add AD in minus one and a half, considering that he's probably about

50%. The line looks to be about the same expectations that it was a week ago.

I think the Lakers, I don't know, if motivation is a factor.

So what did he do there?

He looked at what the line was most recently, and it wasn't that long ago.

And he said, okay, now the home court's different. Now we used to switch flop at like 6.7 points. He's either 3, 3.5 back in the day. Now it's down more to 2. So if you're favored by 2 at home and you're a 2.00 dog on the road, that's about right if you're even teams. So it's a four point swing. So he swings at four. And then he says, but

LeBron was playing. Here he's questionable. But from all the math that you just talked right

there, it strikes me this current line, which is... Lakers minus one and a half.

That speaks to the idea that this line is pretty much saying LeBron's playing.
