Last night, the college football playoff rankings were announced for this week 12, and I thought it was interesting.

I know from Indiana fan standpoint, there were a lot of people that felt like Indiana has been slighted.

I don't think you can say that anymore, because if you look at the undefeateds, they obviously, even though Indiana has yet to have on their resume a win over a ranked team, they are still the

highest rank of the undefeated's remaining.

Well, Oregon, obviously, is at number one, but Oregon has a win over Ohio State.

Of those out there between Army, BYU, Indiana, Indiana coming in in the fifth spot, now

it gets a little bit confusing in terms of matchups, and that's all fairly irrelevant

because there is so much left to do.

But to talk about all of it, break it down a little bit.

Adam, I will begin right with this question, and that is, do you believe that Indiana now

has punched their ticket permanently and assuming that they beat Purdue, that what happens

against Ohio State would be irrelevant in terms of them staying in this college football

playoff? Yeah, it's going to be with you guys. I don't think necessarily, because you saw what happened to Georgia, a team that has one of the best wins in the country this year at Texas, which is the number three team in the committee's ranking, a convincing win on the road at Texas. They lose, and I know it's their second game, but they lose their second game in convincing fashion and drop nine spots all the way to number 12. So Indiana, I don't think, has that

luxury. If they get blown out by Ohio State, the way this committee has behaved at times

has been confounding in the past, and it wouldn't shock me if they really punished Indiana

for that loss. And then we could, well, they finally played a good team, and they didn't shock me if they really punish Indiana for that loss.

And then we could, well, they finally played a good team and they didn't show up and they

lose by 30.

So I do think that the nature of that game is really, really important.

Obviously, if Indiana wins, it creates all new possibilities and fulfills all those
