I was in the keyhole for yesterday. Potto Awards win his second of the season in the NTT IndyCar series and now on to Iowa, where he won in 2022.

He joins us now on the Express Pro Tire and Auto guest line driver of car number five for Aaron McLaren.

Pado first, congratulations. It's got to be kind of cool to listen back to that, right?

Oh, thanks, man. Yeah, we were definitely sweating there in the end.

But, no, I mean, very, very well-earned victory. I think we can all feel very proud of what we did yesterday.

And yeah, hats off to the team, Ira McClaren, giving me a really great strategy, great in the pits,

awesome race car all weekend, where we could really execute and capitalize on a great opportunity we got.

So let's go to that strategy. And for those that are unfamiliar with

it, you know, you did what, at least from the outside, from those of us that are not in the car,

what we call the undercut, where you're running with Palo, you know, you're, in matter of fact,

you were closing in on Palo, but you're running second. And then you pit before Alex Palo. So you pit, you get done with your pit stop, you come out, and then you

force Palo to have to pit and race himself back out. And as we heard, you were able to pass him

when he came out of the pits. Is that kind of a strategy in terms of that quote unquote undercut

discussed back and forth when you're in the car or do they basically just say to you this is

when we're coming in and we don't know when he's going to or not no i mean they they called it

you know i've i had other things to worry about with the inside of the car and all i had to do was just

basically maximize my my time on in-lapse outlapse and you know in the pit stop sequence and

that's ultimately what what gave us the, yeah, the,

that opportunity.
