Every year, again, if people listen to this show, they know that I'm a very odd tradition person.

And one of the traditions every year is we do the state fair and we do the same loop.

Just kind of walk the loop.

One of the, I'll tell you, one of the real thrills.

And this is such an underrated, underappreciated aspect of fun and hilarity in this city.

I know exactly where you're going because I think I saw Shannon post this on social media.

I'm telling you.

There's a ride called the blizzard.

And it's the one that like it goes around in a circle, but it kind of comes down a hill.

Like as you're exiting turn three, you kind of go down like a little hill.

And the force of it, everybody's laughing while they're on the ride because it's obviously a very fun ride.

Or kind of like if you're going down county line to get to Chicago's off of 31 in Greenwood. That's right. On your way to the fantasy draft by Morgan Town Road. But when you, when it comes around that corner on the ride, everybody is trying to like look cool, but it's just impossible to look cool because you're getting whipped all over the place and the look on people's face. And every year when we do the loop, we stop at that ride

and watch like two rounds of it. And it is double over laughter in people watching. It's the

best people watching. And I mean, the people that are on the ride are laughing too. It's not,

you know, kind of laughing with them. But it is, it is the best. So we did that and then we

walk through the little cover bridge and we go on the backside of the fairgrounds. And that is

where I'm walking along. And I did like a double take. I probably looked starstruck. I think I did

look starstruck. And it took me a second

because I haven't, I don't see this person often, but I obviously know what they look like,

and I've met them before. And it was Tony East, who interestingly enough was walking west when I
