of it also of those viewers of the big ten network we talked about the fact that illinois and

perdu are playing tonight a guy that knows both of those programs well bruce weber joins us on

the program and coach let me begin by saying this it is my understanding that today or sometime this weekend you are being

inducted into and you correct me if I get the terminology wrong. The Missouri Valley Hall of Fame,

is that correct? Yeah, that's correct. Yeah, we just had a breakfast honoring the inductees and,

you know, just a really proud, proud, you know,

moment for me to be included in that and a great history in the Valley.

People don't realize the second oldest conference and of all conferences.

The Big Ten is the oldest in Missouri Valley.

And the names, you know know you're putting West Sunsell

Oscar Roberts and Larry Bird I mean these people are all in the Hall of Fame when I look at that

book and then and then just to be included with that group it's special so we get honored at the

game with the noon game and I'm I'm fitting you in here between those two events.

Well, and so let's get right to this from a basketball standpoint.

Before we get to the Big Ten, I do want to say this because I think you'll agree.

I think the Missouri Valley, year in and year out, and certainly this leads to why it's a great

honor for you.

I think it's one of the best coached leagues in the country. I think top to bottom,

there is as good of X's and O's coaches throughout the Missouri Valley is anywhere you're

going to find in college basketball. There's no doubt about it. And my time, you know,
