Okay, quick story.

I was in my early 20s, right eyeed and idealistic, a romantic at heart, and I was in love.

The thought of being together consumed my every thought.

Day and night I dream about being reunited.

I'd rehearsed awards that come out of my mouth when we laid eyes on one another again.

Then the big day came.

I drove south on Interstate 55 from Chicago, a thousand miles to New Orleans.

It took two days.

I had butterflies in my stomach and then there it was.

Two years of separation, two once again became one.

I was together again with my beloved, a roast beef and shrimp po-boy from Domalesees.
