NFL owners have approved a expansion of the league's replay system after the disaster that happened at the end of the same

Passing our appearance both offensive and defensive will now be reviewable first penalties in the history of the league's replay system to be added to approved reviews.

The replay booth in conjunction with the league's office in New York will initiate challenges in the final two minutes.

Coaches will be limited to two challenges per game with the third awarded if they are successful on the first two.

Again, coaches will be able to challenge non calls for passing or appearance.

This is a really big deal. Move has been advocated by the Saints since their January 20th playoff loss.

If we have gone through a process like this and really with an open heart tried to look at doing what was right and after much discussion came to a conclusion where ownership league office coaches, gems felt real good about certainly fans one knowing that those guys are working hard at the right decision.

You will see replay continue to evolve, but I would tell you that I think one of the foundations of it was the challenge system.

The clubs really felt that that was important to continue. So I could see it expanding to other plays in the future within the challenge system.

The replay has been an important tool for us and it wasn't able to correct something that we wanted to have corrected in the past.

That to me it was a driving force ultimately in the end of the day.

Ultimately all 32 NFL coaches were in favor of this and I think it makes the game much better.

It's exact solution that I brought to bear on this show in the wake of the way that the Rams and the Saints game went down.

So I think here's what you need to do. You just need to expand replay within the existing system and allow coaches to challenge the pass interference penalties.

If you have the ability to review an instant replay and see whether the call was made correctly, then this will be a system that will not dramatically alter the outcome of games.
