Okay, sure. Thank you for having me. I'm Yuran and I'm a grad student in sociology at Harvard

University. My primary academic interest is in political and historical sociology and

also Marxist theories. I in particular study political economy and class politics in China

and as a side project I also study China's contemporary Maoism and other than academic

stuff I have also been involved in left activism and labor organizing both in China and the

I think there are a lot more people are familiar with the Russian Revolution and the Cuban
