Lakers got a 112-109 win over the heat without Laurent James last night. He was out with

a cold. Dennis Schroeder led all scores in the game. 32 points for Schroeder. The Lakers

win their third in a row.

Shannon, nice little win streak there. What does this tell you about your team?

They beat the heat, but I'm not as sold on the heat as everybody else is. Everybody

seems to owe the heat going to get it together. You know that heat culture and blah, blah,

blah. I'm not sold on them.

They're 20 and 18 coming in. Exactly.

They're 20 and 19.

Exactly. So it's not like they beat the sell-ticks or the net or the sixers without those

two on the court.

But I thought the supporting cast played really well in the absence of LeBron and AD.

And it's good when we look at it, when those two guys are off the court, uh, entering yesterday,

the Lakers have been outscored by 14 points per hundred possession with those two guys off

the court. So what we got is something that we don't normally see. We did get a complete

team effort. We got guys playing really well. Uh, Shruta was unbelievable last night.
