We're actually switching gears.

We're talking some recruiting.

And like with a lot of things, a lot of people can get swept up in, you know, what on three says, what 247 sports says, what ESPN has somebody.

How many five stars?

How many blue chip?

I mean, how many times did we see the graphic last year

during the week of the national championship game,

the blue chip ratio between Miami and Indiana and who has what,

who brings what to the table?

Well, as good as it is to load up on five stars and blue chip recruits,

every class needs those underrated prospects that end up being

impact players. And Notre Dame has had a lot of that, especially in recent seasons.

Heck, there's a lot of those on the current roster right now, a roster that you and I believe

is top three in the country talent-wise and they're not third. So you need those type of players. And that's what we're

going to talk about in this segment here. Yeah. And look, sometimes it's me. It's my ranking.

A guy is underappreciated, underrated. I've said this before. I had Anias Williams as one of the

lowest ranked players in the 2019 recruiting class. I was not high on what I thought he was a heck of a high school player. You can't deny the stats. He was like 4,000 yards rushing and 2,000 yards receiving, but you're like kids from like out in the middle of nowhere in Missouri. And and I don't, and it wasn't even as as as explosive and fast as what Aeneas Williams is.

And so I was like, heck of a high school player, but I just don't know how well that transits. I think he could be a nice back, but I never saw back to back thousand yards season coming from Aeneas William. So he's an example of that too. And not even just throwing shade it, you idiots at on three and two, four, seven. And I do a lot of that, deservedly so, but they're not the ones that always that are the only ones to get it wrong we can get it wrong too and and when you look at

this trev and and it's it's the same old star debate right like i'm having this debate on somebody on

the board and then just the narrow-mindedness of of these people that have these

stars matter debates and and want to act like oh well this guy is you know this
