Ivy Nation, welcome back to another edition of the Irish Breakdown podcast.

It is good to know that we're not the only ones that have to deal with technical difficulties at the start of a show.

They're having a little bit of technical difficulties right now as they prepare for the announcement of Isaiah Rogers, who will be committing here very shortly.

Isaiah is a very talented running back from the 2007 class, Trev, and he's going to make an announcement here soon between Notre Dame, Georgia, Indiana, Penn State. We're going to talk about that announcement. And then, of course, since it is Monday, we're going to dive into our Baisal Holt, Trev. So it's a heck of a way to kick off the week, man. Heck of a way to kick off the week.

I'm ready to get this rolling, man. The offseason is already starting to fly by. We're one day closer to the blue gold game, one day closer to Notre Dame kicking off. And I'm excited to see where Isaiah Rogers ends up committing. He's a talented running back then. Yeah, he is. He is. And obviously, you know, looking at this recruitment,

Trev, it is an interesting one. When you look at kind of how things have gone, they're now

completely, it looks like, frozen up right now. They're rocking and rolling. Looks like they're

getting closer to being done. But yeah, they're have some technical difficulties there. But,

you know, Isaiah is a very talented back, Trev, and that's a very important position in this class.

Notre Dame has really recruited that position well.

And it really came down to there were four backs that Notre Dame was the highest on.

There was kind of a top three and then like a fourth guy that wasn't necessarily

not as good as the top three. It's just I don't think his interest level is as high as the top

three. And those four backs were Isaiah Rogers, Lathen Wizington, Trey Segarra, and Noah Roberts,

who's from Arizona. Four very talented players. And, you know, four guys that obviously

Notre Dame a lot and they had three of those

four guys on campus last weekend and the goal was basically got to get one and hopefully they're

going to you know that you want to get two and so Isaiah was one of the players on that campus

and look there's there's a lot to like about us four finalist, Treve. I mean, this is a kid that's not afraid of competition, right? I mean, Notre Dame already has a commitment from Lathen, Wizzinton. Georgia already has a commitment from Keemann Spell. This is a kid that likes winners, you know, three of the four teams have played in the college

football, or all four teams have played in the playoffs the last two years. Three of them have

been to the college football semifinals. Georgia's not one of those three, which is still crazy

to think about. But the other fourth team, Georgia, has won the SEC championship two years
