We're talking about Notre Dame schedule and not in the normal way that we've talked about it before.

Look, Notre Dame schedule has caught a lot of flack and people are calling it a cupcake schedule.

You've been on shows where people have called it a cupcake schedule.

They play nobody.

The funest part about that was, i i rather enjoyed that conversation but he said

literally with no qualifiers they play a cupcake schedule and i'm like uh don't they play your team

and don't they play the team that beat your team last year? I'm just just curious.

Like no qualifiers like outside of Miami. You play no one. It just was you play no one.

I'm like, um, a little bit of a cell phone there, I think. It's just wild to hear some of the

stupidity that comes from people. Not so much that one, but just like some other things I've heard. It's kind of hilarious. But it's like, it's just a piling on, you know, just the lazy. Oh, I'm going to say it because everybody else says it. I got nothing to say here. Join a conference. Like, okay, come on. But at the same time, this is not a gauntlet either this isn't us coming

back saying no you're crazy this schedule's not soft they play nine good teams this year uh no

we're not doing that either uh it's not a tough schedule and so the conversation that we're

going to have here is that matters if the schedule is as soft as people think it is.

Let's say it is, Trev. Let's say some teams take stepbacks. Nobody emerges in this schedule is just really weak.

That means that Notre Dame better go 10 and 0 or 12 and 0 if they want to get a buy.

11 and 1, as we saw with Indiana two years ago

may not get you a home game so um it it does matter but if the schedule is tougher than we

think it's going to be you get a little bit more respect.

It may be the difference between an undefeated Notre Dame being number one or number three.

I mean, I think too, Trave, you could be undefeated and be a three seed.

I mean, let's just, let's just say this, right?
