We're going to continue with this recruiting topic, but we're going to get a little bit more granular.

And in this part, we're talking about the 2023 recruiting class.

Now, we just spent time talking about how they were overlooked and they were underranked coming into college.

But you and I are both believers that once you step foot onto a college

campus and you are now a part of a collegiate football program, the stars and the rankings

and that conversation goes out the window. And now it's about who you are at this place.

And that's how we're going to look at this 23 and 24 recruiting class coming up in the next

part is their role for this year. Now, this was Marcus Freeman's like

first full like recruiting class as the head coach. You know, like 22, he was named the head

coach, but he wasn't helping close in that process for the 22 recruiting class outside.

Not for offense. Yeah. Which is why the defensive class that year was so good.

Yeah. I mean?

Like, you think about it, Benjamin Morrison, Jaden Mickey, Junior 2 Elamaca,

Josh Burnham, Jalen Sneed.

That was a pretty darn good class, you know.

And then the 23 was the first full class where him and Chad Bowden were really driving the bus, so to speak.

100%. And you look at what their role is going to be for this upcoming team.

And when you guys are going to understand once we start breaking down the individual players in this class,

but it's going to serve as the heart and soul of this team in 2026 because you look at who is in this class,

the positions that they're in, not just positions on the depth chart, but positions of leadership

and influence on this team.
