On January 6th, President Trump gave a speech to his supporters

and encouraged them to march on the Capitol to stop the certification of the election results.

What ensued was a full-on insurrection, the likes of which we had never seen.

While the Capitol was being breached, the President stood by and did nothing.

Only several hours later, after one person died and many more were injured,

did the President finally step in and tell his supporters to go home.

While this did nothing to ultimately stop the certification,

he left a stain on our democracy, and to this day,

little has been done in the way of bringing those responsible to justice.
