Bad news for the Oklahoma City Thunder.

According to reports, Chet Holmgren is going to miss the entire upcoming season after

suffering a Liz Frank injury to his foot.

That injury occurred last week during a Seattle Pro Am game when Holmgren was guarding LeBron.

He had to see this type of stuff, Shannon, what's your reaction?

Very important.

It's a very fluky injury.

I hope guys still have Pro Am, but I still hope guys show up.

I've got to skip a lot of time when things like this happen.

The guys go a year or two without having Pro Am to guys afraid to show up.

I believe this was a fluk injury of all the Pro Am's.

I've never really heard of anybody getting injured, let alone to this degree.

This is a big blow.

This a blessing in a curse could be because any time we hear about a big man in foot injuries,

the automatically thing, I think Sam Boy, I think Bill Walton.

Guys who had their careers cut short or could have been really, really great because of foot

injuries.

But when a guy misses a season, the first season, that doesn't mean that his career is

lost.

Ben Simmons missed his first season, skip and guess what?

He came back and went rookie over here, Blake Griffin missed his first season, came back

with rookie over here.
