As fast as I could I start running and it felt as though I was skating through the air

That was a familiar sound for me during my high school years

It represented thoughts that I make it to the Olympics someday and I was as qualified as any 16 year old girl could be

I was gonna wear that metal proudly around my neck and taste the success of the moment
