This is the best of two pros and a couple Joe with LaVar Arrington,

But one of the storylines in the NFL that's kind of flown under the radar

because we're not used to this,

just like we're not used to seeing the Baltimore Ravens defense

struggle the way it has this year,

is the Steelers defense has not been great this year.

And they're in the midst of a pretty rough stretch

where they're allowing a lot of a pretty rough stretch where they're

allowing a lot of yards, a lot of points, the second half against the Packers, like they got

shoot up and spit out on national TV. And it's the first time in a while where the conversation's

not, if you could just get something from the quarterback or if you could just get something

from the offense, this team could be a real threat.

Instead, the defense has not been great.

T.J. Watt has not been the same T.J. Watt that they thought he was going to be.

They've dealt with some injuries as well, too.

And so Mike Tomlin, the Steelers head coach, took time to back his defensive coordinator, Terrell Austin, but also acknowledged they got issues on that side of the ball.

I've known Terrell a long time. He's very capable. He's very thorough. I largely been pleased with his work.

But certainly, he and I are not pleased with where we are right now from a defensive unit perspective.

And so we're just going to keep working.
