Welcome back, biblical world listeners. Today we have a special episode.

It is that time of year, the time for top 10 lists.

I'm joined by Kyle.

Kyle, it's been a while since we've recorded an episode.

We've been so busy with

teaching and I've been working on a movie and a book and a bunch of other things, but, you know,

we've got to get this one in. Yeah, you took a nap. You took one? Yeah. A couple. It was really good.

That's good. I wish. We need those. Well, as we end 2023, we thought it would be a good idea to do our first

annual top 10 list, top 10 archaeological discoveries. This will be a little bit different than other

top 10 lists because we're actually going to talk about way more than 10.

We're really going to give you not only a top 10 list that we think are the top 10 discoveries,

we're going to give you a few honorable mentions along the way. And I might even say that this is not so much

top 10 discoveries as it is top 10 stories. So that's the first thing you need to know. The second

thing you need to know is that this is not arranged in order of importance. So we are moving through the list from

number 10 all the way down to number one, but we've arranged them not chronological, not by order
