A little bit of a scheduling snafu, but we have a grand episode for your delectation.

On the program, we have David Cowan.

He is a veteran, OG, investor at Bessemer Venture Partners.

And we've brought him on for a few reasons.

One, he is one of the very early people who bet on space, private space companies.

And if, you know, listeners of this pod will know, space is booming at the moment.

There's lots of, there's tons of money going into this industry now.

Lots of interesting things happening.

We had Will Marshall from Planet on here recently.

But Cowan was one of those, one of the few people who bet on this and bet on it early back

when it was an idea that most likely just looked like it was not going to work.

It was just going to be a waste of money.

This is a view that apparently most of his partners at the firm thought as well.

But anyhow, this year, three of those companies he backed years ago have gone public together.

They're worth nearly $10 billion. So we talk about kind of how and why he ended up getting

involved in that world. But more broadly, we also discussed just a very weird business
