And as John Wallach continued to poo-poo, saying there's no way, saying he knows so much and everyone else knows so little.

It looks like Patrice Bergeron is coming back to the Bruins.

John, how does that make you feel?

It makes me feel wrong is what it makes me feel like.

You were so sure of yourself i was and yet here you are

wrong yep that's correct as if you knew the men you spoke as if you sat in his shoes yet here what

you are wrong i have egg on my face this morning fred no tell you no two ways about but i i't, my reasoning was I couldn't understand why he'd come back and do it. And a theory I heard over the weekend is mind-boggling to me as to why he would come back. Why? Well, Kirk Ludakey, who wrote for the New England Hockey Journal, covered the Bruins for years and years and years. And now he's the assistant GM for a junior hockey team out in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

His idea was that the reason Bergeron came back was because he values his teammates so much

and values the organization so much that he is going to give the Bruins a year to figure out the direction of this franchise.

He's going to make this team respectable for a year while Sweetney and Neely sort out this mess,

and then hopefully in one year he will have given management enough time to chart a proper direction.

That's why he is coming back.

You know why he says that?

Why is that? It's because the reality is much less exciting and sounds dumb. But the reality is he wanted to play hockey for more and more year. Yeah, and the reality is probably because Marshan was like, dude, let's do it one more time. You know, we're going to have a different voice in the locker room.

Maybe they weren't fans of Bruce Castion. I don't think it, I think it comes down to as simple as he wasn't ready to stop playing hockey. Maybe. He wanted one more year. Yeah. And that's, and it's not as exciting and it's not, you know, a heroy thing to do. and like it is coming and to save the day.
