This is as far behind as I've been on draft stuff since I started doing any of this and it's

been over a decade. So I'm behind. I bet you're a little ahead of the game last year.

Yeah, exactly. When you follow the 49ers recently, you started at the draft yeah in in October and so now

yeah we're we're a little bit behind but seeing some senior bowl prospects seeing some senior

bowl coverage and I actually want to lead this thing off because our friends at Locked-on

bangles Jake had a chance to talk with Duke Tobin, who is the player

personnel guy for the Cincinnati Bengals, who have the number one pick in the NFL draft.

And they were talking about a number of things. And the quarterback position came up, which could be

very important for the Cincinnati Bengals with that number one overall pick,

and this was just a clip of their conversation.

Quarterbacks much differently, or even five years ago,

and all these guys going off-script doing off-schedual plays much more than before.

It's a big component of the NFL right now.

The teams that are having most success are getting more off-script plays on third down

than the teams who are trying to run the perfect play on third down.

And when you can get a guy that can make the unexpected happen,

the Mahomes of the world, those teams right now are now you can make negative unexpected happen doing that too.
