Live from Southern California, this is the Jim Rome show.

Not only do we get the triumphant return of one Alvin Gabriel, or DeLoro, to the jungle,

we also got the triumphant return of Monday night football last night.

Not only that, but what we got

was a marquee quarterback matchup. Jane Daniels v. Joe Burrow. Actually, incredible viewing for a

preseason game, even if Jane was only on the field for all four plays. He played four snaps.

He didn't even attempt to pass, although he did run one in for a TD.

And I bet that moment had the commander's coaching staff feeling a little queasy.

But I'm sure it had the Bengals coaching staff feeling a hell of a lot more queasy.

And I'm sure Bengals fan was just plain pissed off.

Watching this play, you would never know Cincinnati's objective was to stop the runner from scoring the touchdown.

Those guys are going to be on this roster.

Daniels tap dancing around and down into the end zone for a touchdown.

I'm telling you, Bengals out here playing two-hand touch.

Even though their entire mantra is, got to start fast.

Got to start fast.

Can't start slow.

Got to be ready for week one.
