critics of this pontificate, I fall in these ranks.

Beneplanists, people that don't think he actually is Pope alike, all three groups,

the friends of the Pontificate, the friends of the Pontificate, the critics

of the Pontificate, and those who say the Pontificate doesn't even properly exist.

There are two hard, incontrovertible facts that we all must examine upon Francis's death.

Too hard, incontrovertible facts that, irrespective of your position on the Francis Pontificate in the first place, whether you like it, you lump it, or you say it's

not even real, there are two facts that absolutely demand your attention and will infinitely

more so than today demand your attention once Francis dies. And those too hard incontrovertible

facts have nothing at least ostensibly to do with Pope Francis.
