Clover is up 80% but we're also seeing big gains in amc blackberry and

game stop as well john yeah we're also watching shares of marvell tech which is up about three

and a half and cooper which is down almost seven both CEOs set to join us in earnings exclusives

later this hour.

John, in the meantime, we're going to be talking to Bill Gurley this hour, who has come out as a trying to frame deed the discussion between the going public process.

There's IPOs, which he's long been critical of, the overall process,

versus direct listings. And in his view, we need to be moving to a world in which direct

listings are more of the norm, given the way he argues IPOs are dramatically underpriced.

He's been written about this recently. We'll ask him what the catalyst was for this new

flag in the ground, but it's really intended to move the discussion of how companies go public through what process

and at what price. And it's good timing. We are, John, seeing more and more companies go the direct

listing route. We are seeing more gains from direct listing companies as well.

But it's been a bit of a controversial issue in the Valley.
