Mike Floreo from Pro Football Talk reported this morning, take it for what it's worth,

that the Bengals offer to Trey Hendrickson

was a lowball $28 million a year offer. One of the reasons he's been very upset. Just comparatively,

you're talking about Max Crosby just signing for 35.5 million per year.

Miles Garrett just getting a deal at 40 million per year.

But even a guy like DeNeil Hunter, who is in the age category of Trey Hendrickson, he makes 35.6 million. This would put him 28 million if he

accepted it in sort of that six to 10 range of pass rushers. So the, if true, that is what I would

refer to as a low ball offer. I think that is a fair description to

Trey Hendrickson. How it plays out, who knows, Ben's with us. You know, this has been kind of a

conversation that we hit on one out of every two times we talk, going back to, you know, pre-draft.

Something's got to happen there. I doubt he's going to play for $16 million,draft. Something's got to happen there.

I doubt he's going to play for $16 million, which is what he's going to get paid this coming season,

and then hope that the Bengals don't franchise him in free agency.
