In the next week or so, the Venice Film Festival, the Telluride Film Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival, will all start.

It sounds like a lot of work, but taken together, these are probably three of the most important festivals.

For Hollywood, I would argue, more important than Sundance and Cannes.

Yeah, this is the time of year when the studios and the independent film distributors and publicists are all teeing up their movies that we'll be talking about going all the way up until the Academy Awards.
