Lots of people with injuries, the explosion is believed to be an accident.

Thankfully, I am okay, but there's a lot of damage and destruction,

for lots of glass blown out.

Ranya Kalik a Beirut-based journalist and this interview was done on

Sunday that was two days before the explosion And this interview was done on Sunday.

That was two days before the explosion in Beirut.

So you'll note that the tone is pretty jovial,

and that, again, is because the explosion had not happened.

Ranya is fine and she actually was very lucky that there was a power outage

because as you'll see at the end of this interview she mentions how the power goes out frequently in Beirut and she's

grateful that the power did not go out during our interview but it turns out for her it

was a good thing the power had gone out the day of the explosion because

because of that she was not at home and had she been at home she probably would have been killed and she actually posted some photos of the glass blown out,

the windows blown out of her apartment. She would have at least been injured.

Since doing this interview, by the way way it's not just Facebook that is labeling

MAFIC media as Russian state-controlled media it's now Twitter as well and who

knows where else it'll be by the time you listen to this.
