Today on Summit Life, Pastor J.D. Greer teaches from Ephesians chapter 6.

Paul says, saturate yourself with this gospel that I'm teaching you because it will become

the armor of God against Satan.

It will protect you, your marriage, and your family.

So Paul gives them two commands.

Be strong in the Lord.

And in the strength of his might,

the second command is put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to

So if you've ever played organized tackle football, you probably wouldn't go out

onto the field to play without your helmet and your pads, right? Or if you're a

firefighter, you wouldn't run into a burning building without both your firefighting tools as well as personal protective gear.

But here's the thing.

Often as Christians, we enter the spiritual battlefield without any protection at all.

And it's usually because we don't think it's that big of a deal.

Big mistake.
