Hi, thank you for listening to this new meditation of mine. This meditation is particularly important to me because it talks about stoicism ...and after all, we can never guarantee happiness... But we can guarantee resilience and stoicism.... it is all we've got to hold to as truly authentic of the moment…on that note.... today I leave the island.... A small island in North Queensland Australia ....I may have sent this news to you before but today it is happening and I move to the next stage in my travels… I have shared with you that four people close to me including both my parents died in the space of a year… This is now just over a year ago .....and then there was fallout and other events occurring ....it is the events which occurred after these events and prior to these events which have left me stricken with grief… and at times questioning the meaning of life...I have experienced a particular situation for about 26 years that I struggle with daily which is beyond my control.... This situation causes me significant pain ....yet the irony is that without its ongoing occurrence, I never would've started YouTube or my podcast....IIf you know me and listen to my content you will already know that I don't actually agree with such strong absolute language as "stricken with grief' however I feel it is appropriate in this situation… I have been completely devastated, saddened and in many ways left rudderless… But I find the stages I am moving through somewhat ironic… My sadness if you don't mind me saying so seems to have inspired me to be more creative… And being creative brings me joy… And being creative brings me a sense of flow… And flow in life is absolutely paramount to peacefulness and contentment… So on that multifaceted note ....I wanted to let you all know… That I believe in you..... remember to practise resilience remember to practise silence remember to practise stoicism and remember to practise compassion.... For it is these virtues that give you true soul....
