There exists an English legend, the truth of which is up for debate.

In the 12th century, a pair of children were seen climbing out of a wolf pit.

They had no immediate family, they did not speak any English, and perhaps most strangely,

they were said to have green skin.

Today we look at the fact and fiction behind the story of the green children of Woolpit.
