I'm your host, Michael, and this episode is beginner tip 10, where I'll talk about triathlon training

0:17.3

as a master's athlete.

0:19.9

How does training and things that go around training

0:22.5

change as we grow older? Well, first, let me reference a couple of very important resources

0:29.5

on this topic if you want to go more in depth after listening to this quick tip. And the first

1:38.5

The second reason is that the amount of lean muscle mass that we have is reduced with age

1:46.5

and there's an increased mass of or increased percentage at least of body fat

1:52.1

so both of those they kind of go hand in hand to reduce the performance that

1:58.7

that aging athletes can retain.
