I'm going to celebrate with you an amazing human being,

a dear friend of mine, and then at the very end, an opportunity for you to have a chance to meet her.

So let's roll. Her name is Amy Crawford, and her life is evidence that to become a spark for good,

we must first recognize that in the face of things that seem impossible,

we can always start by doing something.

In her nearly four decades working as an educator, Amy has joyfully guided the children in her classroom to not only enjoy a subject,

but to recognize the value of their lives.

She savored being an educator and the chance to encourage kids. And yet, Amy realized it wasn't just the children in her classroom

that needed to be inspired. It was also the teachers who taught them. Amy did not know how to

tackle the entire issue. What do you do?

But she saw a need, and she knew she could do something.

As a new teacher, Amy had been given a cassette recording of a renowned educational speaker.

The message shared on that tape, deeply inspired her back then, and she thought, maybe years later I can bring that message forward to my colleagues.

She had no funds, but she knew she could do something.

And so, in he arranged to bring the gentleman gentleman in that individual spoke to the teachers in her

area. She raised most of the necessary funds, but as the event neared, Amy was still $500 short,

another teacher in her building, though, aware of the shortfall, approached Amy and shared

that his mother had recently passed away. His mother
