Okay, friends, 1st Peter 4.3. Peter says this, for the time that is past,

suffices for doing what the Gentiles want to do, living in sensuality, passions, drunkenness,

orgies, drinking parties, and lawless idolatry.

Wow, that is a big list of ugly sounding things, isn't it?

And what's Peter's point?

Well, he's trying to get us to understand that the way we live our Christian life matters.

And he's saying most of us became Christians after

living a life our own way for some time. We engaged in things that we shouldn't have been doing.
