“I've always wanted to create a business for myself and my family that creates a legacy,” tells Jared Mitchell, Head of eCommerce for Neil Patel and leads three different companies.
Jared started as a musician and had some early success with a record contract. However, due to the advent of streaming, his dream was short-lived. Soon he was working different jobs, and side hustles to make a living.
But this was just the beginning. Jared’s wife had started a business and soon a brand, and Jared saw an opportunity to learn digital marketing and practice it in a real-world setting with his wife’s new skincare line. Shortly after that, he met Neil Patel, worked with him, and the rest is history.
Jared’s ambition to create a legacy and overcoming his fear gave him the confidence to build his own consulting and coaching business, and now he helps others achieve their dreams.
In part 1, Jared talks about:
* Mentorship
* Teaching people to build a brand
* Life-changing side hustles
* Website for Alana's day spa
* His motivation
* The Plus-minus relationship
* Their discount idea for Alana's skincare business
* How to test a new product
