It reminds us of the fact that while we're saving for the future, we also want to enjoy life in the here and now and craft beer from at night. That's one of the ways that we're able to do that and make that a priority. So what is your splurge what's your craft beer equivalent? |
| 1:23.3 | My beer equivalent. I mean, I could say the easy fun thing that everybody loves, which is travel, which is definitely one of them, but I have to say like one of my more guilty pleasures that I don't like to readily admit is clothing. I spend especially since my book launch, I spend quite a bit on clothing because I hired a personal stylist, which sounds like something I would never do. |
| 1:45.3 | But it was actually like one of the best uses of my money in a long time. I'm kind of just going off on this question. I'm sorry, but I did it when the book launched because I was like, you know, I was doing a lot of media stuff. And if you know, and if you knew me, you would know like, yeah, she probably needs a personal stylist. |
| 2:05.3 | You got a public, public gatherings. And it was awesome because it just like it made me confident. And I didn't have to like worry about how I looked or how is presenting when I was talking to people are giving speeches. So it's not a splurge. I regret. I think it was a good call. |
| 2:21.3 | Very cool, Kristen. Yeah, I love how that one thing was able to inspire so much confidence in you and basically take one thing off your plate as you're going on your book tour. |
| 2:31.3 | By the way, I wanted to mention one of my favorite tweets of yours. You mentioned that you asked your husband three things he was thankful for. And one of the top things on his list was his Costco membership. |
| 2:41.3 | Automatically, I love him. I love him. I think we can be best friends. |
| 2:45.3 | We're going to Costco tonight. He's very excited about it. |
| 2:48.3 | What? |
| 2:49.3 | Oh my gosh. Can we come to? |
| 2:50.3 | Come along. |
| 2:51.3 | Oh, man. Well, Kristen, do you love Costco yourself or is it just your husband? |
| 2:55.3 | No. I hate Costco. |
| 2:57.3 | Oh, man. |
| 2:58.3 | Did you bend to a Costco? |
| 3:00.3 | This interview is over. |
| 3:01.3 | Well, I have. That's why it's not my favorite place to go either. |
| 3:05.3 | I mean, here in Atlanta, our Costco, it's pretty far from where we live. |
