Summary

Today Lo is joined by actress, comedian, dancer and singer Haley Fitzgerald. Per usual, Lo and Haley overshare as they dive into their biggest fashion and beauty (cringe worthy) moments. The two crack up as they speak candidly about the evolution of their eye brows. From over plucking to emo bangs, skinny jeans and combat boots...the two besties hold nothing back as they reflect on the different fashion phases. They also talk about the biggest turn on's and turn off's for dating. The chemistry and banter between Lo and Haley is strong....so strong that Lo starts to question if he is catching feelings. It makes for a hilarious conversation you won't want to miss. This episode will give you some belly laughs and leave you with a full heart, Buckle up puta... you are in for a treat!

Hello,

0:16.0

Welcome one and all to a brand.

0:20.1

Spanking new episode, a fresh out the oven ready free to feast on of the low-life podcast. I'm your flaming hot and spicy, seasonally depressed, white wine drinking, tuckie pinger licking, ice coffee sipping, London loving, hot mess of a host.

0:34.9

And I'm so happy to be here with you today. There is no place I'd rather be than in this moment here with you right now. Just to paint a picture of where I'm out right now. I'm recording this live from the UK. I'm here in London. I'm at my friend Jesse Jay's place. She's a dope spot in London. I'm hanging out with her, getting ready actually

0:55.1

to go to the airport to head back to Los Estados Unitos and I don't want to leave. Oh, I loved London.

1:01.4

It's amazing. I had such a good time here in the UK and also Paris. Let's not forget about my trip to

1:07.3

Paris. I have so much to fill you in on the people, the culture, the food.

1:12.8

Oh, I'm obsessed. A lot to unpack. So much happened. I feel like I got to squeeze the most

1:18.5

juice out of this trip. I wasn't here for a very long time, but I got the most bang for my buck.

1:23.3

And so I want to do an episode just on London and Paris, the best of London, what it has to offer for my experience. And then also the best of Paris. What to do in Paris, like a $40 a day, Rachel Ray, sort of a situation. We could do an episode like that as well. Let me know if that's something you'd even be interested in listening to. But I can't wait to tell you about this trip. Oh, it's been so much fun. My life batteries are refueled right now, and I'm coming back to L.A. in the best headspace, which brings me to my mental health score. What is your mental health score this week? How are you feeling? Are you having a good day, a beautiful week? I hope so. I hope you're in a good place right now. But if you are struggling, like I know a lot of people, friends of mine, people that I encounter are really going through it. Life is throwing some curveballs their way. The universe is like, we're just going to fuck shit up for you right now. We're going to throw a lot on your plate, and it could feel like you have too much you're taking on right now, or you're exhausted because of a relationship relationship or you're going through it in your personal life or your career is in an uneasy place. You're feeling some uncertainty right now or you could be struggling with health issues or financial instability. All of those things are stressors in this world, but I'm here to let you know that I promise you are going to be okay. You are going to get through this. There is light at the end of the tunnel. And even though you don't see it right now, I get it because I've been there and it's hard to see the light when you're swimming in darkness. Trust me. But the fact they're even here right now listening to this podcast, you're giving yourself a solid win. It's an improvement for your mental health because I promise you you're going to be laughing

2:51.0

during this conversation. This is such a good episode. I love it. This one will leave you with a

2:55.1

smile on your face, some laughter and a full heart. But before we jump into this week's episode

2:59.8

with Haley Fitzgerald, I want to rate my mental health a solid 9.2 out of 10. I haven't been

3:05.7

this happy ever. No. I'm feeling pretty damn good. It's making

3:11.9

me uncomfortable how good I'm feeling right now. But I will say it could be short-lived.

3:16.2

You know, we have the highs, the lows, peaks and valley types of moments. And so right now

3:20.2

I'm riding a high. I've been traveling through Europe. I had a great time in London, obsessed

3:24.0

with Paris. And now I'm on my way back to the United States. And so I had a really nice time surrounded myself with friends and good people. I met new people. Oh, I had a really amazing experience. And so I'm riding that wave right now. We're just going to ride this to the wheels fall off because my mental health could be taken a dip as soon as I'm back.

3:41.2

We'll see.

3:58.9

But I can't wait to be home because I miss little Shamu. I miss his little cuddles and snuggles and I'm snorting up a storm. And so I'm excited to be home to see my family, to get back in the U.S. And to, of course, see baby Shamu. Please let me know in the review section of Apple Podcasts if you'd like me to recap my trips from London to Paris and just break it all down like $40 a day, Rachel Ray, sort of a thing, the sights and sounds, what to see, what not to see, hotspots that I win to, that I can share with you. If that's something you would be interested in listening to if you'd like to hear about my trip, then of course, we'll dive into it and I will do an episode about London and an episode

4:17.3

with the best of Paris. Because I have interviews because I did travel with my podcast equipment, so I was able to get some interviews, just some quick soundbites of the locals that I was talking to, becoming friends with, and they were sharing their life experiences and their take on Paris and London. And so if you'd like to hear that, please again, let me know in the review section about a podcast because then we'll keep moving and grove in and drop those episodes in the next couple weeks for you. Now, let's talk about this week's guest, Haley Fitzgerald. She was on last week and we're continuing the conversation this week. This conversation made me laugh so hard that I didn't want to cut anything out. I loved it. So we turned it into a two-parter. Haley and I are talking about some fashion mistakes we have made, some moments of indiscretion that we have had in our youth. Hell, we're still making mistakes to this day. But these are some of the mistakes that we've made that still make us cringe a little bit. Ugh. But we're happy to share them with you because I'm sure there are some questionable fashion moments that you've had in your teenage years, in your 20s, hell me, even a couple weeks ago. And so we're going to break some of those down. And also, we talk about some dating deal breakers. And of course, Haley holds nothing back. Haley Fitzgerald is someone that I met in LA years ago. She danced for
