What's up? Welcome in a big day for the Chicago Bears. It might not get the same headlines

maybe as like, I don't know, drafting Justin Fields, but anytime you have a brand new

president and CEO, the trickle down effect throughout the franchise is big. This is the

first time. What year did Ted Phillips get that job? 1999. Here's the exact date. February 10th,

1999. He replaced Michael McCaskey. So we're talking 24 years. This is a quarter century.

This is a big deal. But Kevin Warren will be, as we've talked about already, but it is,

it is finalized, although not officially announced yet, but both of us on this podcast have

confirmed it at this point. He will be the next president and CEO of the Chicago Bears,

the big 10 commissioner coming over. And we wanted to get you to the pod right away. We

today. But John, your initial reaction to the Kevin Warren news, it's, it's easy to see

how the bears were attracted to Warren, right? They need a new stadium. They have the property

secured in Arlington Heights, the old Arlington Park race track property. And Kevin Warren,

when he's with the Vikings, before the big 10, built one of the finest and one of the most

beautiful stadiums. You and I can both agree. We've been there multiple times now. The place

is stunning. US bank stadium in downtown Minneapolis. That is Kevin Warren's baby. Now he gets

to leave his mark again with the bears building their brand new stadium, something like that.

Maybe a little bit better. Maybe get my hopes up here a little bit. But you could see why he made

so much sense for the bears. Look, I want to be careful to not like turn this into like a negative
