My name is Rich Daniels and I live and work in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

I've been a researcher in the Big Foote community for about 19 years now. To this date, I think the centerpiece of the work that I've been able to get done has been a study that I conducted on the emotional and psychological after effects of encounters that

witnesses all some to demonstrate. And the reason I came to be able to do that was that I was working in the

mental behavioral health field as a paraprofessional and I began to start realizing that a lot of the issues that I was dealing with,

with people that I worked with on a daily basis and my job started to match up with a lot of the things that people were reporting to me when I interviewed Bigfoot witnesses.

And I saw that correlation in the responses

and after effects that they were having.

And I ended up getting into a very deep study about that. And that's been what I've been doing

for about the last eight years now. And it's been challenging and it's been

intriguing to see all these different things and where it's led me in my research.

This all began for me in January of 2000.

I was living and working in Western Maryland,

and the young lady that I was dating at the time

had two small children, and at that time we found ourselves

with an unusually warm day about 60 degrees or so and in the middle of winter when you get a

warm day you try not to

wasted at all. So we decided to take the kids out for a picnic and we did that

and that turned into going to visit friends which turned into going out to dinner, which got us in a little

late for the evening, and it's somewhere between 9 and 10 o'clock that night.

And she lived out in the woods, basically. There's a wooded area,

boarded right up next to her property and next to the house where she lived.

And her driveway basically encircled her house.
