Hello, Battle Crew.

It is Wednesday, it's Humpte, We're halfway through the week. So, yesterday, I get a call from a buddy of mine, who's a sheriff in an adjacent county.

And you know how I've been telling you all about the fact

that here at Fort Parnell were slowly ramping up

the homesteading, you know, well, we happen to be in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

and you heard what they're doing to the Amish farmer out in Central Pennsylvania.

The state of Pennsylvania is just doing terrible things to them.

But you know, our mission, for the most part, is to be completely self-sufficient.

If something happens and things go south, we want to be able to operate independently,

we want to be able to put food on the table for our kids, and plus,

there's something about homesteading and taking care of, you know, your family, your children, but also animals.

That hearkens back to, I think, a way that people were supposed to live and it's really

fulfilling on a lot of different levels so I find myself as someone who's new

doing all of this I've always been an outdoorsy kid, but never really raised any animals on my own. But so I made new, lots of new conversations come along with this. And so some of these conversations go like this.

Commander Melanie, my amazing wife coming up to me and saying to me, Sean,

I got a line on some chickens.

And I would say, I got a line on some chickens.

And I would say, oh, well, that's great.

And then I take a pause.

I said, wait a second, did you just say you got a line on some chickens, a line.
