All right, hour number two on a Saturday morning, handle here.

Oh, man, is it hot?

I have never in my life left the house and come to the station where it was 76 degrees as I walked outside.

And yesterday it was north of 100 degrees.

I have friends in Woodland Hills, 113 degrees.

Jeez, Louise.

But the good news is that I keep my air conditioning down to 68 degrees at home.

So it's really, really cold, and then I wear a sweater.

I just hate being told what to do from the Department of Water and Power saying keep your

thermostat at 78. Uh-uh. No one tells me what to do. Now, it turns out that my power bill

gets to be a little pricey.

But hey, go figure.

Did you know that Richard Nixon, and this is a true story,

middle of sweltering summer in Washington, D.C., where it is so insanely humid,

imagine this plus tons of humidity.

When he was president, he kept the air conditioning and the residents at 68 degrees and would have a fire going.

And it'd be 90 degrees outside with almost complete humidity.

Go figure you can do that as a president, too.
