Summary

We're recording tonight after the All-Star Game and we're STILL in LA. Joey was the only one who went to the game tonight which was fine with Jared because he didn't want to do the seven-mile hike and 40 flights of stairs that it takes to get into Dodger Stadium. It worked out though because as we discuss, this was a pretty cool game to watch on TV. The MLB debuted a few different new quirks like having two players mic'd up at the same time and umpire cams. We talk about whether this should become mainstream and be implemented into regular season games. A lot of people were up in arms about the same color-schemed jersey's for each league but Jared thought they were dope. Aaron Judge was put on the spot before the game and was forced to brake poor little Jacob from Astoria's heart and tell him to find a new Yankee to be a fan of. J-Rod and Juan Soto battled it out in the finals of the Home Run Derby which was the matchup everyone wanted to see. We talk about J-Rod putting himself on the map on Monday night and how electric his first couple rounds were. Jared demands apologies for being laughed at when we said Pujols would take down Kyle from Waltham in the first round. Juan Soto rejected a $440 million offer from the Nationals and we talk about potential trade spots for him. Enjoy the break and we'll see you after this weekend!
