2020 season we have a few shows left over. One of the things that we got to do on this trip was to go fishing with

my friend Derek DeYoung. And Derek is a really famous and well-known marine artist. He does some incredible incredible work if you don't know Derek

the young you ought to check out his stuff it's fantastic I really like it but

one of the things that he likes to do that we said we were going to go do together was

barracuda fishing on the flat.

And in the wintertime, the barracutas will push up into the shallower water

and it's a good place for them to ambush baitfish

and they can make a living up there.

And for whatever reason, in the cooler cooler weather they really push up there and in the lower keys it's it's very good but you'll find barracuda's on the flats you know all around Miami and all the way down the Florida Keys and plenty of other places.

So I thought we'd do a how-to Tuesday on my favorite way to fish for them, which is to use a floater diver plug.
