so law and crimes crime fix podcast crime crime crime yeah i do you know this is the second week

that gary and i have done a midweek again we took a hiatus for a year, but by popular demand, the, the subscribers

and the fans have asked for the midweek to make a return. Last week, it was Ashley Banfield

talking about her uncle Peter. I didn't ask if you have an uncle Dick who's under

indictment or not, but, you know, I thought, who better than you?

Although, you're actually a lawyer, correct? I'm not. A lot of people think that I am, though.

I've just always, I wanted to go to law school. When I was a kid, I'm probably dating myself.

I used to watch LA law.

And so I always think of LA law as the kind of the fourth iteration.

I always say Perry Mason or things like that.

Yes.

Where does L.A. law?

L.A. law actually predates Boston legal, too, doesn't it?

It does. It does.

That's why I said I'm dating myself.

But it made me want to go to law school.

And then I guess I just think got, I wanted to go to law school because I wanted to do, you know, legal journalism.

So a lot of people then would say to me, don't spend the money if you're not going to practice.

And I was really never sure I really wanted to practice.
