that wasn't being taught at school after becoming frustrated by the curriculum. Lizzy Calvert

started writing the book after a trip to Auschwitz, where she was really shocked to discover that

the Allies knew about the Holocaust while it was happening. They certainly knew about Auschwitz

and they didn't target it or bomb it in their air raids. And Lindsay found out a lot of other
