This is Tom Rosenbauer and last week we had an all-time record for downloads. The podcast with

Perkin's on Casting in the Wind was our all-time record so we're really

really happy about that and it was a great it was a great

podcast I really enjoyed it in fact I used some of the tips that Perk talked about

on a trip to Florida last week. I had a pretty good wind and the tips actually worked so that was pretty neat

Being able to use my own podcast for improving my fishing. I was very happy about that. A topic

that we have had a lot of interest in lately and a number of people have asked

for a podcast on is the topic of bamboo rods and

the difference between bamboo and graphite.

Now I expect that it's just because a lot of people haven't ever cast or

fish with a bamboo rod. Graphite rods are so ubiquitous these days and bamboo is

they're they're expensive they expensive they're hard to get sometimes and so everybody

wonders about a bamboo rod and am I missing anything and I would urge you if you have

never cast or fish with a bamboo rod to try it at some point.
